ปัจจุบัน เวลาที่ผ่านมากว่า 30 ปี ของโครงการหลวงฯ ได้สร้างชีวิตใหม่และทำให้คนไทยกลุ่มหนึ่งมีอาชีพและมีชีวิตความเป็นอยู่ดี กว่าเดิม อย่างเห็นได้ชัด มีป่าไม้ และต้นน้ำลำธารเป็นแหล่งชีวิต
