รศ.มาลิณี จุโฑปะมา อธิการบดีมหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏบุรีรัมย์ พร้อมด้วยคณะผู้บริหาร คณบดีทุกคณะ ของมหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏบุรีรัมย์ ร่วมกันจัดงาน ราชภัฏบุรีรัมย์มหกรรมวิชาการและวัฒนธรรมนานาชาติ เพื่อเป็นการเฉลิมพระเกียรติสมเด็จพระเทพรัตนราชสุดาฯ สยามบรมราชกุมารี ที่ทรงเจริญพระชนมายุ 60 พรรษา ด้วยความสำนึกในพระมหากรุณาธิคุณที่ทรงเป็นองค์อุปถัมภ์มรดกวัฒนธรรมไทย ทรงเป็นแบบอย่างและทรงส่งเสริมการอนุรักษ์ศิลปวัฒนธรรมไทยให้มีการสืบสาน และเผยแพร่ทั้งในประเทศและในระดับสากล ทางมหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏบุรีรัมย์จึงได้จัดงานนี้ขึ้นภายใต้ชื่อ ราชภัฏบุรีรัมย์มหกรรมวิชาการและวัฒนธรรมนานาชาติ BRICC Festival 2015 ขึ้น ในระหว่างวันที่ 19-23 มกราคม 2558 โดยได้รับเกียรติจาก พลอากาศเอก ชลิต พุกผาสุข องคมนตรี เป็นประธานในพิธีเปิดงานดังกล่าว สำหรับกิจกรรมภายในงานประกอบด้วย การประกอบพิธีเฉลิมพระเกียรติสมเด็จพระเทพรัตนราชสุดาฯ สยามบรมราชกุมารี การนำเสนอผลงานวิจัยระดับชาติและนานาชาติ ที่มีจำนวนกว่า 115 เรื่อง การเยือนแผ่นดินปราชญ์ การสัมมนาทางวิชาการ นิทรรศการอาเซียน และการประกวดอาเซียน ดราม่า คอนเทสท์ การแสดงวัฒนธรรม ภูมิปัญญาท้องถิ่น และวัฒนธรรมนานาชาติจาก 12 ประเทศ ที่ตอบรับเข้าร่วมงาน การแสดงจากสถาบันการศึกษาต่างๆ จากทุกภูมิภาคของประเทศไทย และการจำหน่ายสินค้าพื้นบ้านตลอดทั้งงาน ทั้งนี้เชื่อว่ากิจกรรมดังกล่าวตลอดทั้ง 5 วัน ผู้ที่ร่วมงานจะได้ความรู้ และประสบการณ์ชีวิตโดยตรงจากปราชญ์ชาวบ้าน ทั้งยังได้ชมการแสดงวัฒนธรรมต่างๆ จากกลุ่มประเทศอาเซียน โดยเฉพาะศิลปะการแสดงของแต่ละประเทศนั้นมีความสวยงาม และมีความโดดเด่นที่เป็นเอกลักษณ์เฉพาะตัวของประเทศนั้นๆ ด้วย ซึ่งคาดว่าจะมีผู้สนใจเข้าร่วมงานในครั้งนี้ไม่ต่ำกว่า 10,000 คน
