เพื่อศึกษาทางอนุกรมวิธานและสัณฐานวิทยา เช่น ราก ลำต้น ใบ ดอก และผล โดยทำการเก็บตัวอย่างตั้งแต่ช่วงเดือนกุมภาพันธ์ พ.ศ.2559 – เมษายน พ.ศ. 2559 พบพืชทั้งหมด 11 วงศ์ 24 สกุล 25 ชนิด เป็นพืชใบเลี้ยงคู่ 11 วงศ์ และเป็นพืชใบเลี้ยงเดี่ยว 1 วงศ์ พรรณพืชที่พบมากที่สุดคือ วงศ์ทานตะวัน (Asteraceae) พบ 5 สกุล และ วงศ์ผักบุ้ง (Convolvulaceae) พบ 4 สกุล พบจำนวน 5 ชนิดเท่ากัน รองลงมาคือ วงศ์เหงือกปลาหมอ (Acanthaceae) และ วงศ์บานไม่รู้โรย (Amaranthaceae) พบจำนวน 3 ชนิดเท่ากัน วงศ์เปล้า (Euphobiaceae) และ วงศ์หญ้า (Poaceae) พบวงศ์ละ 2 ชนิด และวงศ์ที่พบ 1 ชนิด 5 วงศ์ ได้แก่ วงศ์กุ่ม (Capparaceae) วงศ์ชบา (Malvaceae) วงศ์ถั่ว (Fabaceae) วงศ์บานเย็น (Nyctaginaceae) และวงศ์เข็ม (Rubiaceae) ซึ่งพืชส่วนใหญ่ที่พบจะเป็นพืชมากกว่า 1 ปี มีงานวิจัยที่นกบางชนิดนำพืชในวงศ์หญ้า (Poaceae) มาใช้ในการสร้างรัง แต่การศึกษาครั้งนี้ไม่พบชนิดของหญ้าที่นกนำมาใช้ในการสร้างรัง
