เทศกาลตินาญังของจังหวัดอิโล อิโล จัดขึ้นทุกวันอาทิตย์ที่สามของเดือนมกราคม มีที่มาจากขบวนแห่รับพระรูปของพระเยซูน้อย (Santo Nino หรือ Child Jesus) ที่บาทหลวงชาวสเปนนำเข้ามาในฟิลิปปินส์หลายร้อยปีมาแล้ว โดยนับถือว่าพระองค์ช่วยขับไล่โจรสลัดซึ่งมักมารุกรานชาวเกาะในสมัยโบราณ ทุกปีชาวเมืองจะแห่พระรูปไปตามถนนในเมือง ต่อมาจึงเปลี่ยนแปลงเป็นการประกวดขบวนแห่และการเต้นรำตามท้องถนน โดยเพิ่มวันงานขึ้นอีก 1 วัน เป็นวันเสาร์ที่สามของเดือนมกราคม เรียกว่า “Kasadyahan” แปลว่า “ความสุข หรือความสนุก”
