โครงงานนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ เพื่อศึกษาการแก้ปัญหาที่ส่งผลกระทบต่อการเสียรูปในกระบวนการรีดขึ้นรูปและลดปริมาณของเสียที่เกิดขึ้น โดยใช้ Evolution Stability Improvement Model (Dynamic LRP) และศึกษาในโมเดล EKM-3 ซึ่งเริ่มจากศึกษาสภาพปัจจุบันของสายการผลิต เพื่อเก็บข้อมูลต่างๆ โดยใช้วิธี สังเกตุ สอบถาม สัมภาษณ์ และการจดบันทึก จากพนักงานในแผนก จากนั้นนําข้อมูลมาศึกษา และวิเคราะห์ โดยใช้ Fish - Bone และ 5 Why analysis เพื่อให้ทราบถึงสาเหตุที่แท้จริงที่ส่งผลกระทบต่อการเสียรูปในกระบวนการรีดขึ้นรูป เพื่อนำมาแก้ไขปัญหาสาเหตุหลักที่ทำให้ล้อเสียรูป ซึ่งพบว่าอุณหภูมิที่สูงเกินไปของเตาอบเป็นสาเหตุหลักที่ทำให้ชิ้นงานในโมเดล EKM-3 เสียหาย ด้วยเหตุนี้เอง จึงปรับปรุงโดยการลดอุณหภูมิที่เตาอบ เมื่อเปรียบเทียบเปอร์เซ็นต์ของเสียแล้วพบว่าเปอร์เซ็นต์ของเสียของโมเดล EKM-3 ก่อนปรับปรุงมีเปอร์เซ็นต์ของเสียเท่ากับ 7.93 % ตั้งเป้าหมายหลังจากการปรับปรุงไว้ที่ 3% เมื่อทำการปรับปรุงในเดือนกันยายน พ.ศ. 2558 พบว่าเปอร์เซ็นต์ของเสียลดลงเหลือ 2.94 % ซึ่งลดลงไป 4.99 % ได้ตามเป้าหมายที่ตั้งไว้
