Anchor Link>>> สวัสดี ค่ะท่านผู้ฟังทุกท่าน ขอต้อนรับท่านผู้ฟังเข้าสู่รายการเจาะกระแสถิ่น กับสโลแกนลึกรอบด้าน สื่อสารสาธารณะ วันนี้เราจะพูดคุยกันต่อจากเมื่ออาทิตย์ที่แล้วกับหัวข้อปลูกอนาคตการศึกษา สู่สังคมคุณภาพ จะเห็นได้ว่าสังคมไทยนั้นให้ความสำคัญกับการศึกษาอยู่มากพอสมควร แต่ยังมีข้อขัดแย้งที่เกิดขึ้นอีกมากมายเกี่ยวกับระบบการศึกษา ที่เดี๋ยวก็เปลี่ยนรูปแบบให้เกิดความทันสมัยขึ้นกว่าเมื่อก่อน แต่กลับกลายเป็นว่า ทำให้เกิดความสับสนวุ่นวาย เกิดความไม่เข้าใจกันระหว่างผู้สอนกับลูกศิษย์ ผู้ปกครองกับบุตรหลาน หรือ ผู้ปกครองกับทางโรงเรียน ซึ่งตัวดิฉันเองบางครั้งก็ไม่เข้าใจอีกเหมือนกันว่า เกิดอะไรขึ้นกับระบบการศึกษาที่สับสนวุ่นวายนี้ ปัญหาเหล่านี้ดิฉันเองก็เคยประสบพบเจอมาเช่นกัน เมื่อตอนที่อยู่มัธยมปลายมีการเปลี่ยนแปลงระบบการศึกษาใหม่ รุ่นของดิฉันเป็นระบบใหม่นำร่อง ไม่ ต้องเรียนวิชาคณิตศาสตร์ มีการเก็บคะแนนในห้องเกือบทุกคาบเพื่อเอาไปช่วยในเวลาสอบปลายภาค แต่สุดท้ายคะแนนเก็บก็ไม่ช่วยอะไรเลย ก็ไม่รู้ว่าจะเก็บไปทำไมนะ จากที่เคยสอบถามนักเรียนคนอื่นๆ ก็ประสบปัญหาเช่นเดียวกัน ในเทอมถัดมาก็เพิ่มวิชาคณิตศาสตร์เข้าไปใหม่ ก็เลยเกิดอาการง.งูสองตัวชนกัน (งงค่ะ) สุดท้ายเมื่อจบม.6 ก็ เป็นรุ่นสุดท้ายที่เรียนระบบนี้ นับว่าเป็นระบบที่ล้มเหลวเป็นอย่างมาก นี้เป็นปัญหาที่แค่เกริ่นไปเท่านั้นเองนะคะ ช่วงหน้าพบกับเนื้อหาสาระดีๆที่เรานำมาฝากท่านผู้ฟังค่ะ

Anchor Link>>> ค่ะ ก็กลับเข้าสู่รายการ ฟังให้ดีนะคะ เรามีคำถามถามท่านผู้ฟังในช่วงท้ายรายการด้วยนะคะ อย่าเพิ่งหนีไปไหนนะคะ สำหรับเรื่องระบบการศึกษาในยุคปัจจุบันนี้ทำให้เราเห็นความหลากหลายในการที่ จะพัฒนาระบบการศึกษาให้ดียิ่งขึ้น เพราะการศึกษาจะช่วยพัฒนาศักยภาพหรือเสริมสร้างพลังที่มีอยู่ในตัวของมนุษย์ ซึ่งสามารถทำได้ตั้งแต่จุดแรกเริ่มและตลอดช่วงวัยชีวิต ระบบการศึกษาตามพระราชบัญญัติการศึกษาแห่งชาติ พ.ศ.2542 จึง จัดให้มีโครงสร้างที่เปิดกว้าง ยืดหยุ่น หลากหลายรูปแบบ เป็นการทำให้การศึกษาเป็นกระบวนการเรียนรู้ที่เกิดขึ้นได้ทุกที่ ทุกเวลา จำเป็นจะต้องสร้างสภาพแวดล้อมและกำหนดเงื่อนไข และระบบการศึกษาที่เหมาะสม เป็นการจัดองค์ประกอบต่างๆ ที่แสดงให้เห็นถึงโครงสร้างการศึกษาในเรื่องระดับการศึกษา รูปแบบการศึกษา และประเภทของการศึกษา

ระบบการศึกษาในประเทศไทยใกล้จะเปลี่ยนไปเป็นระบบการศึกษาสำหรับ

อาณานิคมที่มุ่งหมายปราบปรามความคิดเสรีและคิดสร้างสรรค์ ฝ่ายบ้านเมืองที่คิด "ปฏิรูปการศึกษา" ทั้งข้าราชการหัวเก่าและนักการเมืองหัวพ่อค้า, ล้วนคิดแก้ปัญหาที่ปลายเหตุ เช่น การปกครองระบบ การเปลี่ยนหลักสูตร, การล้างสมองครู ฯลฯ ซึ่งเป็นเรื่องยากๆ ทั้งสิ้น แม้กระทั่ง "การศึกษาที่เด็กเป็นแกนนำ" (Child Centred Education) ถูกบิดเบือนจนกลายเป็นการล้างครู คว่ำสังคมจนไม่มีใครรับได้ เมื่อพิจารณาก็ยิ่งสงสัยว่า ระบบการศึกษาของไทย (และที่อื่นๆ) ไม่เลวทั้งหมด แม้จะมีปัญหาขลุกขลักบ้าง ซึ่งเป็นธรรมดาทั่วโลก ในระดับอุดมศึกษา, มัธยม และประถม ระบบไทยสามารถป้อนความรู้ที่จำเป็นสำหรับนักเรียนนักศึกษาได้ดีพอสมควร ใช่ว่าจะเลวสิ้นดี

ปัญหาหลักๆ ยังมีอยู่ คือระบบการศึกษาไทย 1) ไม่ส่งเสริมความอยากรู้อยากเห็นอันเป็นนิสัยแท้ๆ ของเด็กทุกคน 2) ไม่ชวนให้เด็กสงสัยหรือซักถามซึ่งเป็นสิทธิของเด็กทุกคน และ 3) ไม่เปิดโอกาสให้เด็กคิดสร้างสรรค์หรือจินตนาการตามที่เด็กเกือบทุกคน (อาจจะ) ทำได้ จุด กำเนิดปัญหาไม่ได้อยู่ที่ห้องเรียนในมหาวิทยาลัย โรงเรียนมัธยม หรือโรงเรียนประถม แต่เกิดในชั้นประถมตอนต้นหรือก่อนหน้านั้นเสียอีก

รู้สึกว่าเรื่องของระบบการศึกษาจะดูเหมือนว่าเป็นปัญหาที่เริ่มจะเรื้องรังมากเลย

เราได้รับคำตอบมาจากหนังสือดีๆ ชื่อว่า Partners in Learning ของ Maureen Wickremasighe (ISBN 955-97827-5-4) ว่าด้วยบูรณาภาพ (Continuity ?) ระหว่างวัยทารกกับวัยเริ่มเข้าเรียนหนังสือ ความสงสัยและจินตนาการในทารก หนังสือดังกล่าวขึ้นต้นด้วยทารกเริ่มคลาน ว่ามีความอยากรู้อยากเห็นสูงมาก, ย่อมสำรวจรอบตัวจับหัวแมวหางหมาว่ามีสรรพคุณอะไรบ้าง, คว้าขี้ดิน ด้ามร่มเข้าปากว่ากินอร่อยแค่ไหน ต่อมาพอเดินได้ ทารกจะเริ่มเล่น, และมักจะเล่นสกปรกมอมแมม, เช่น เล่นทราย, สาดน้ำ, ปั้นดินเป็นขนม (Mud Pies) ออกขายกันสมมติเป็นตลาด ฯลฯต่อมาเมื่อเด็กโตขึ้นมา, ครู ชั้นประถมตอนต้นควรใช้พลังสงสัยอยากรู้อยากเห็นนี้เป็นเครื่องมือในการสอน ให้เด็กเรียนรู้อักษรและเลขด้วยความสนุกสนานอยากรู้อยากเห็น สำหรับคนที่มีสุขภาพจิตสมบูรณ์, มีจินตนาการและคิดสร้างสรรค์, การละเล่นไม่มีวันสิ้นสุด เมื่อสุนทรภู่ แต่ง "พระอภัยมณี" ท่านกำลัง เล่น เมื่อ Einstein คิดทฤษฎีครอบจักรวาล ท่านกำลัง เล่น เมื่อ จิตร ภูมิศักดิ์ วิเคราะห์คำว่า ไทย, ลาว ขอม, ท่านกำลังเล่น ฯลฯ, ฯลฯ, ฯลฯ ที่จริง การเล่น หรือ การเรียนรู้, และ การเรียน ก็ควรจะเป็น การละเล่น ต่อเนื่องกัน แต่ในโลกทัศน์ของผู้ใหญ่ส่วนใหญ่ การเล่นและการเรียนเป็นคนละเรื่องไม่เกี่ยวกันเลย ในทางตรงกันข้าม, การเล่นเป็นการเสียเวลาเปล่าๆ และเมื่อจะเข้าเรียน เด็กๆ ต้องเลิกเล่น ! นี่เป็นความเข้าใจผิดระดับพื้นฐานที่เป็นอุปสรรคต่อความสำเร็จของการศึกษาไทย
