บทคัดย่อ

งานวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อทดสอบประสิทธิภาพของเกล็ดไคโตซานที่มีผลต่อการบำบัดน้ำเสีย โดยนำน้ำเสียที่มีส่วนผสมของน้ำมัน 3 ชนิด คือ น้ำมันพืช น้ำมันเครื่อง และ น้ำมันหล่อลื่นมาใช้ในการทดลอง ทำการทดสอบประสิทธิภาพของเกล็ดไคโตซานโดยการตรวจสอบลักษณะทางกายภาพ จากการสังเกตความขุ่น สี และกลิ่น รวมทั้งตรวจสอบลักษณะทางเคมี จากการวัดค่าความเป็นกรดด่าง(pH) ของน้ำเสียที่มีส่วนผสมของไขมันทั้งสามชนิด ก่อนและหลังทำการทดลองด้วยเกล็ดไคโตซาน ปริมาณ 1 กรัม 2 กรัม และ 3 กรัม ต่อน้ำและน้ำมันสามชนิดที่ผสมกันในอัตราส่วน 1:1 , 2:1 และ 3:1 พบว่าน้ำเสียมีคุณภาพดีขึ้นหลังจากการบำบัดด้วยเกล็ดไคโตซาน คือ มีค่าความเป็นกรดด่าง(pH) ที่เป็นกลางมากขึ้น และมีปริมาณไขมันทั้งสามชนิดลดลงอย่างเห็นได้ชัด โดยจากการศึกษา พบว่า ปริมาณเกล็ดไคโตซานที่ใช้ในการทดลองที่มีประสิทธิภาพที่สุด คือ เกล็ดไคโตซานปริมาณ 3 กรัม รองลงมาคือ เกล็ดไคโตซานปริมาณ 2 กรัม และ 1 กรัม ตามลำดับ และ พบว่าอัตราส่วนของน้ำและน้ำมันทั้งสามชนิดที่มีประสิทธิภาพในการทดลองมากที่สุด คือ อัตราส่วน 3:1 รองลงมา คือ อัตราส่วน 2:1 และ อัตราส่วน 1:1 ตามลำดับ
