แม้จะเป็นชุมชนเล็กๆ แต่บ้านน้ำเชี่ยวก็มีกิจกรรมหลากหลายให้ผู้มาเยือนได้เพลิดเพลินกันแทบตลอดทั้งปี
*มกราคม-กุมภาพันธ์ มีการละเล่นว่าวอูฐ โดยมีการสอนทำว่าวอูฐให้แก่นักท่องเที่ยว และจัดสรรพื้นที่ทุ่งนาให้เล่นว่าวด้วย
*เมษายน-สิงหาคม กิจกรรมจับปลาไหลโดยใช้วิถีดั้งเดิม คือใช้มือเปล่าจับ และมีการดำปลาดุกที่ดักด้วยกระบอกไม้ไผ่ กิจกรรมนี้เปิดให้ชมเท่านั้น เพราะต้องใช้ความชำนาญพิเศษ
*พฤษภาคม-มิถุนายน เป็นช่วงที่ผลไม้หลายชนิดออกผล จึงอิ่มหนำสำราญกับผลไม้จากสวนกันสดๆ
*มิถุนายน-ธันวาคม เป็นช่วงเวลาของหิ้้งห้อยปล่อยแสงทั่วทั้งป่าชายเลน
*ตุลาคม-พฤศจิกายน กิจกรรมช้อนปูใบไม้หรือปูแป้น นำมาดองน้ำปลาอร่อย ใส่ส้มตำก็แซ่บถึงใจ
*ธันวาตม ประเพณีแข่งเรือ ที่ใช้พายไม้ไผ่แห่งเดียวในประเทศไทย โดยจัดแข่งขันร่วมกันระหว่างทีมเจ้าบ้าน และทีมนักท่องเที่ยว
ส่วนการท่องเที่ยวที่สามารถทำได้ทั้งปีไม่จำกัดช่วงเวลา ได้แก่ การงมหอยปากเป็ด ชมป่าชายเลน ดูนกและนกเหยี่ยว นั่งเรือดูปลาที่ปากอ่าว ดักลอบกุ้ง ปู ปลา และกรีดยาง ซึ่งสองอย่างหลังนี้ควรมาค้างคืน เพราะเป็นกิจกรรมที่ทำในเวลากลางคืน
