Kindly be informed as per our Term and Condition once booking is confirm there is no cancellation and payment made are not refundable. Guest are entitle to claim for airport tax refund if their boarding status are stated as "no show" for their flight. However, as a good will of gesture if guest unable to travel due to medical reason we only able to offer a credit shell with cancellation fee.

Note: You must utilize the credit shell amount within 90 days or 3 months from the credit shell date issue but the flight date can be anytime. Once expired, it will be locked by the system and it is not extendable. The credit shell are applicable for all AK,FD,QZ flights. It is transferable to any family members or friends.

In regards to your inquiry as due to medical reasons you are responsible to provide us with the relevant doctors letter and kindly provide us with a clear copy so that we may clarify. Also please be informed that we do not accept medical reports/certificates/lab reports/discharge summary. We will appreciate it if you can provide us a doctor's letter with the following details:

1) Hospital/Clinic's Letterhead
2) Official stamp of Attending Physician
3) Medical Condition
4) Recovery period and unfit to fly till when
5) Signature of Attending Physician

To process the credit shell you need to be Air Asia member. Please sign in at www.airasia.com once you have registered you will get a ten digit number. Kindly provide us the member i.d.number together with the all supporting document via our E-Form at http://www.airasia.com/my/en/e-form.page.
