A total of 12 SPF L. vannamei samples including adult shrimp and larvae were randomly collected from prime
division of Tamil Nadu aquaculture environment for the
study. The shrimps used in culture were imported from
Brazil’s aquaculture grounds through CP Aqua India Pvt,
Ltd and other leading aquaculture industries. The samples
collected were kept in icebox and taken to lab. Collected
samples were stored at -20 曟 for further use. DNA was
isolated from gills, appendages, and pleopod legs, etc., from
adult shrimp and larvae.
