ฉันเชื่อว่าทุกคนในที่นี้คงจะรู้จักการบวชพระในประเทศไทย แต่ไม่รู้ว่าทำไมต้องบวช? บวชไปเพื่ออะไร? บวชแล้วได้อะไร?
ดังนั้นวันนี้ฉันจึงอยากจะมาพูดเกี่ยวกับการบวชให้ทุกคนได้ฟังกัน.
การบวชถือว่าเป็นประเพณีที่สืบทอดกันมานานแล้วตั้งแต่อดีตกาล โดยมีความเชื่อกันว่า บ้านไหนที่มีลูกชาย เมื่ออายุ 20 ปีขึ้นไป จะต้องบวชให้ได้สักครั้งหนึ่งในชีวิต เพื่อศึกษาพระธรรมคำสอนของพระสัมมาสัมพุทธเจ้า และสืบทอดพระพุทธศาสนา และสร้างบุญกุศลอันยิ่งใหญ่ให้ตนเองและบิดามารดารวมทั้งญาติๆด้วย การบวชนั้นจะบวชช่วงก่อนวันเข้าพรรษา ตามกฎหมายแรงงานแล้วผู้ที่ทำงานต้องมีอายุงาน 2 ปีขึ้นไปถึงจะลาบวชได้ 15 วัน
เมื่อเราไปร่วมงานบวชเราควรจะต้องปฏิบัติตนตามจารีตประเพณี คือแต่งตัวให้สุภาพ ไปร่วมพิธีปลงผมนาค, ไปร่วมพิธีงานเลี้ยงตอนเย็นโดยตามประเพณีการไปร่วมงานเลี้ยงเราต้องใส่ซองเป็นเงินเพื่อแสดงให้เห็นถึงความมีน้ำใจในการมาร่วมงาน และสุดท้ายเราจะต้องไปร่วมพิธีแห่นาคเข้าโบสถ์
ดังนั้นการที่ไปร่วมงานบวชและปฎิบัติตนตามจารีตประเพณีนั้นถือว่าเป็นเรื่องที่ดี คนที่ไปร่วมงานการก็จะอิ่มทั้งบุญอิ่มทั้งใจ
