การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ เพื่อศึกษาประสิทธิผลและศึกษาความคาดหวังต่อการดำเนินงานโครงสร้างพื้นฐานขององค์การบริหารส่วนตำบลในเขตอำเภอปรางค์กู่ จังหวัดศรีสะเกษ และศึกษาเปรียบเทียบประสิทธิผลและความคาดหวังต่อการดำเนินงานโครงสร้างพื้นฐาน จำแนกตาม เพศ อายุและระดับการศึกษา
กลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการศึกษาครั้งนี้คือ ประชาชนที่มีอายุ 18 ปี ขึ้นไป ที่มีภูมิลำเนาในเขตอำเภอปรางค์กู่ จังหวัดศรีสะเกษ ทั้ง 10 ตำบล จำนวน 398 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลเป็นแบบสอบถาม สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลคือ ค่าความถี่ ค่าร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน ค่าที (T – test) และ ANOVA

ผลการวิจัยพบว่า
1. ประสิทธิผลต่อการดำเนินงานด้านโครงสร้างพื้นฐานขององค์การบริหารส่วนตำบลในเขตอำเภอปรางค์กู่ จังหวัดศรีสะเกษ โดยรวมมีความคิดเห็นอยู่ในระดับมากมาก
2. ความคาดหวังต่อการดำเนินงานด้านโครงสร้างพื้นฐานขององค์การบริหารส่วนตำบลในเขตอำเภอปรางค์กู่ จังหวัดศรีสะเกษ โดยรวมมีความคิดเห็นอยู่ในระดับมากมาก
3. การเปรียบเทียบความแตกต่างของประสิทธิผลและความคาดหวังต่อการดำเนินงานด้านโครงสร้างพื้นฐานขององค์การบริหารส่วนตำบล จำแนกตามเพศ อายุและระดับการศึกษาแตกต่างกัน มีประสิทธิผลและความคาดหวังต่อการดำเนินงานด้านโครงสร้างพื้นฐานขององค์การบริหารส่วนตำบล โดยรวมไม่แตกต่างกัน
