การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อการพัฒนาผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนวิทยาศาสตร์ โดยใช้วิธีการเรียนรู้แบบโมเดลซิปปา เรื่อง บรรยากาศ เพื่อให้ผู้เรียนเกิดการเรียนรู้ได้ดีมากยิ่งขึ้น วิธีดำเนินการโดยใช้รูปแบบการวิจัยเชิงทดลอง แบบกลุ่มเดี่ยว(One Group Design) ในการจัดการเรียนรู้กลุ่มตัวอย่างเป็นนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 1 โรงเรียนวังโป่งดำรงวิทย์ ตำบลผักขวง อำเภอทองแสนขัน จังหวัดอุตรดิตถ์ เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัยประกอบด้วยแผนการจัดการเรียนรู้ 4 แผน ,แบบทดสอบความรู้ ก่อนและหลังเรียน ,แบบสังเกตพฤติกรรมการปฏิบัติงาน การวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลใช้การหาค่าเฉลี่ย ค่าเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน และการวิเคราะห์เพื่อจัดหมวดหมู่ข้อมูล
