การวิจัยครั้งนี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อพัฒนาและแก้ไขปัญกาในการออกเสียงภาษาอังกฤษของคนไทย มี 3 ด้าน คือ ด้านการออกเสียงพยัญชนะต้น ด้านการออกเสียงพยัญชนะท้าย และด้านการออกเสียงสระ โดยใช้ตัวอย่างเสียงที่เป็นปัญหาอย่างมากสำหรับคนไทย และ list of words ที่จะใช้ในการสำรวจในครั้งนี้ ทั้งนี้ เพื่อให้คนไทยสามารถออกเสียงในภาษาอังกฤษได้อย่างถูกต้อง และทำให้เกิดการพัฒนาการสื่อสาร ให้มีประสิทธิภาพมากยิ่งขึ้น
ผู้ที่ใช้ในการวิจัยใจครั้งนี้ คือ five Thai students who are first year level and second year level from Mahasakham University, Faculty of Education, Faculty of Public Health
เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการสำรวจครั้งนี้ ได้แก่ list of words ซึ่งประกอบด้วย Initial sound, vowel sound and final sound ที่เป็นปัญหาในการออกเสียงภาษาอังกฤษของคนไทย โดยทำการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลจากการหาค่า percentage
