นายนพพร เทพสิทธา ประธานสภาผู้ส่งสินค้าทางเรือแห่งประเทศไทย เปิดเผยว่า จากข้อมูลส่งออกในเดือน พ.ค.ที่ขยายตัวติดลบสูงถึงร้อยละ 2 ทำให้เฉลี่ย 5 เดือนแรก ติดลบร้อยละ 1.2 จึงมั่นใจว่า อัตราการขยายตัวของภาคส่งออกในปีนี้ จะไม่ถึงเป้าหมายร้อยละ 3 เนื่องจากรณีที่อียูประกาศลดสัมพันธ์กับไทย และเศรษฐกิจโลกที่ขยายตัวไม่เป็นไปตามคาด รวมทั้งยังมีปัจจัยเสี่ยงจากความขัดแย้งทางการเมืองของโลกและภัยพิบัติทางธรรมชาติ โดยเฉพาะภาวะแห้งแล้งที่จะรุนแรงอย่างไม่เคยปรากฏมาก่อนในปี 2558
