นอกจากนี้การใช้พลังงานทดแทนนั้นยังเป็นการใช้ทรัพยากรที่มีอยู่ให้คุ้มค่าและเกิดประโยชน์สูงสุด ไม่สิ้นเปลือง เช่น พลังงานไฟฟ้า แก็ส และแสงอาทิตย์
