ประวัติบริษัท

บริษัท บางกอกกล๊าส จำกัด ( มหาชน ) ได้จดทะเบียนจัดตั้งบริษัท เมื่อปี พ.ศ. 2517 ด้วยทุนจดทะเบียน
50 ล้านบาท โดยได้รับบัตรส่งเสริมการลงทุนจากคณะกรรมการส่งเสริมการลงทุน (BOI) ดำเนินการก่อสร้าง
โรงงานที่จังหวัดปทุมธานีแล้วเสร็จและดำเนินการผลิตเมื่อต้นปี พ.ศ. 2523 ด้วยเตาหลอม 1 เตา
กำลังการผลิต 150 ตันต่อวัน หรือประมาณ 1 ล้านขวดต่อวัน

บริษัทฯได้เจริญเติบโตและขยายกำลังการผลิตมาโดยตลอด จนปัจจุบันมีทุนจดทะเบียน 4,827 ล้านบาท มีโรงงาน 5 แห่ง ที่อำเภอธัญบุรี จังหวัดปทุมธานี อำเภอแกลง จังหวัดระยอง อำเภอเมือง จังหวัดขอนแก่น อำเภอบ้านสร้าง จังหวัดปราจีนบุรี และ อำเภออุทัย จังหวัดพระนครศรีอยุธยา และปัจจุบันมีโรงงานที่กำลังดำเนินงานก่อสร้าง คาดว่าจะแล้วเสร็จภายในปี พ.ศ. 2558 อีก 1 โรงงาน คือ ที่อำเภอโพธาราม จังหวัดราชบุรี ทำให้บริษัท ฯ กลายเป็น ผู้ผลิตบรรจุภัณฑ์แก้วที่ใหญ่ที่สุดรายหนึ่งของประเทศและภูมิภาคเอเชีย

เพื่อการก้าวสู่ความเป็นผู้นำด้านบรรจุภัณฑ์ บริษัทฯ ยังได้ต่อยอดขยายการผลิตบรรจุภัณฑ์ประเภทอื่นๆ ได้แก่ ขวดเพท กล่องกระดาษ ฝาจีบ ฝาพลาสติก ฝาอลูมิเนียม ลังพลาสติก เป็นต้น เพื่อตอบสนอง ความต้องการ ของลูกค้าที่หลากหลายทั้งในและนอกประเทศ โดยผลิตภัณฑ์เหล่านี้ล้วนอยู่ภายใต้ การดำเนินงานของบริษัทในเครือ กลุ่มบริษัทบางกอกกล๊าส

ด้วยศักยภาพการเติบโตทางธุรกิจอย่างต่อเนื่อง บริษัทฯ จึงได้ทำการจดทะเบียนแปรสภาพเป็นบริษัทมหาชนจำกัด และเปลี่ยนชื่อเป็น “ บริษัท บางกอกกล๊าส จำกัด (มหาชน) ” ในปี พ.ศ. 2556 ตลอดระยะเวลาที่ผ่านมา บริษัทฯ ได้ทำการคิดค้นและพัฒนา เทคโนโลยีการผลิตบรรจุภัณฑ์ ของกลุ่มบริษัท บางกอกกล๊าส ให้ทันสมัยมีประสิทธิภาพมากขึ้นมาโดยตลอด จนเป็นที่ยอมรับของลูกค้าผู้ใช้บรรจุภัณฑ์ จนก้าวมาเป็นผู้นำในการผลิตบรรจุภัณฑ์ที่ครบวงจร ที่ใส่ใจในคุณภาพผลิตภัณฑ์และสิ่งแวดล้อมอย่างเช่นในปัจจุบัน
