ศูนย์วิทยาศาสตร์เพื่อการศึกษา รังสิต ตั้งอยู่ในเนื้อที่ 62 ไร่ ตำบลรังสิต ถนนรังสิต-นครนายก อำเภอธัญบุรี ระหว่างคลอง 5 และคลอง 6 เข้าทางเดียวกับมหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีราชมงคล โดยแยกจากถนนสายรังสิต-นครนายกเข้าไป 4 กิโลเมตร ก่อตั้งเมื่อปี 2537 เพื่อเป็นแหล่งเรียนรู้ด้านวิทยาศาสตร์ สำหรับนักเรียน นักศึกษา เยาวชนและประชาชนทั่วไป ภายในอาคารมีพื้นที่ใช้สอย 35,000 ตารางเมตร แบ่งพื้นที่ออกเป็น ห้องนิทรรศการถาวร ห้องท้องฟ้าจำลอง ห้องประชุมสัมมนาห้องปฎิบัติการวิทยาศาสตร์
