จาก จารึกลานเงิน ที่พบบริเวณเจดีย์รอบมณฑป ได้กล่าวไว้ว่า พระมหามุนีรัตนโมลี เป็นผู้สร้าง และ เสด็จพ่อพระยาสอย เป็นเจ้าเมืองกำแพงเพชรในยุคนั้น

โบราณสถานสำคัญภายในวัด ประกอบด้วย
