ในปัจจุบันประเทศไทยมีการแข่งขันทางธุรกิจอย่างรุนแรง เนื่องมาจากการเปลี่ยนแปลงสภาพทางเศรษฐกิจ สังคม เทคโนโลยี และการศึกษา การจัดการโลจิสติกส์ได้มีบทบาทเป็นอย่างมากในปัจจุบันโดยเฉพาะอุตสาหกรรมโรงสีข้าว และมีความสำคัญมากต่อการแข่งขันทางธุรกิจ เพื่อให้การดำเนินธุรกิจเกิดประโยชน์สูงสุด
ดังนั้นผู้วิจัยจึงสนใจ ศึกษาการจัดการโลจิสติกส์ที่มีผลต่อประสิทธิภาพในการทำงานของอุตสาหกรรมโรงสีข้าวในจังหวัดนครปฐม โดยทำการเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลจากผู้ประกอบการธุรกิจโรงสีข้าวในจังหวัดนครปฐม กลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการวิจัย ได้แก่ ผู้ประกอบการอุตสาหกรรมโรงสีข้าวในจังหวัดนครปฐม จำนวน 55 คน และใช้แบบสอบถามเป็นเครื่องมือ สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล ได้แก่ F-test (ANOVA) การวิเคราะห์สหสัมพันธ์แบบพหุคูณ และการวิเคราะห์ความถดถอยเชิงพหุคูณ
ผลการวิจัย พบว่า ผู้ประกอบการมีความคิดเห็นด้วยเกี่ยวกับการจัดการโลจิสติกส์และประสิทธิภาพในการทำงานโดยรวมอยู่ในระดับมาก ผู้ประกอบการที่มีสถานที่ตั้ง (อำเภอ) แตกต่างกัน ทุนจดทะเบียนเริ่มต้นที่แตกต่างกัน และทุนจดทะเบียนในปัจจุบันที่แตกต่างกัน มีความคิดเห็นด้วยเกี่ยวกับการจัดการโลจิสติกส์แตกต่างกัน และผู้ประกอบการที่มีสถานที่ตั้ง (อำเภอ) แตกต่างกัน มีความคิดเห็นด้วยเกี่ยวกับประสิทธิภาพในการทำงานแตกต่างกัน อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ 0.05 จากการวิเคราะห์ความสัมพันธ์และผลกระทบของการจัดการโลจิสติกส์ที่มีผลต่อประสิทธิภาพในการทำงานโดยรวม พบว่า การจัดการโลจิสติกส์ด้านขนส่ง และด้านการบริหารคลังสินค้า มีความสัมพันธ์และผลกระทบเชิงบวกกับประสิทธิภาพการในการทำงานโดยรวม
