วัดป่าลิไลยก์ ตั้งอยู่ที่ หมู่ที่ ๗ ตำบลลำปำ อำเภอเมืองพัทลุง จังหวัดพัทลุง
วัดป่าลิไลยก์ เป็นวัดเก่าสมัยอยุธยา ชาวบ้านนิยมเรียกกันว่า “วัดป่า” เรื่องราวเกี่ยวกับวัดไม่ปรากฏในเอกสารโบราณใดๆ พ.ศ. ๒๓๒๕ มีพระมหาช่วยเป็นเจ้าอาวาส จากคำบอกเล่าเกี่ยวกับประวัติของวัดกล่าวว่า ที่ดินที่สร้างวัดในปัจจุบันเป็นที่ของตาผ้าขาวบริจาคให้แก่พระสาหมีอินทร์ ที่ตั้งใจจะทำของโบราณมาบรรจุที่พระบรมธาตุนครศรีธรรมราชแต่ไม่ทันพิธีการจึงได้จอดเรือพักและสร้างวัดป่าลิไลก์ขึ้นมาเดิมวัดนี้เรียกว่า “วัดป่าชัน” “วัดป่าเรไร”และเปลี่ยนเป็น “วัดป่าลิไลยก์” ในปัจจุบัน วัดนี้กรมศิลปากรได้ประกาศขึ้นทะเบียนเป็นโบราณสถานแห่งชาติ เนื่องจากมีศิลปกรรมที่สำคัญ เช่น อุโบสถ ใบเสมา เจดีย์ ปัจจุบันได้รับการพัฒนาวัดเป็นแหล่งท่องเที่ยวที่สำคัญของจังหวัดพัทลุง
