การประชุม UN Asia Regional Forum on Business and Human Rights จัดขึ้นโดยคณะทำงานว่าด้วยธุรกิจกับสิทธิมนุษยชนแห่งสหประชาชาติ (UN Working Group on Business and Human Rights) ระหว่างวันที่ ๑๙-๒๐ เมษายน ๒๕๕๙ โดยการสนับสนุนจากสำนักงานข้าหลวงใหญ่
สิทธิมนุษยชนแห่งสหประชาชาติ (Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights – OHCHR) มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อเป็นโอกาสในการเร่งและขยายการบังคับใช้ “หลักการชี้แนะ เรื่อง สิทธิมนุษยชนสำหรับธุรกิจ” (Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights - UNGP) ซึ่งได้รับการรับรองจากที่ประชุมสมัชชาสหประชาชาติในปี ค.ศ. 2011 ให้รวดเร็วและกว้างขวางมากยิ่งขึ้นในทวีปเอเชีย การประชุมครั้งนี้
