การวิจัยเรื่องโครงการ เชิญวิทยากรเพื่อสาธิตเชิงปฏิบัติการทักษะการบริการอาหารและเครื่องดื่ม เป็นการวิจัยเชิงสำรวจคุณลักษณะความพึงพอใจของนักศึกษาระดับชั้นประกาศนียบัตรวิชาชีพ (ปวช.) ระดับชั้นประกาศนียบัตรวิชาชีพชั้นสูง (ปวส.) สาขาการโรงแรม จำนวน ๑๘๘ คน ที่มีต่อการการทำโครงการ เชิญวิทยากรเพื่อสาธิตเชิงปฏิบัติการทักษะการบริการอาหารและเครื่องดื่ม
ประชากรและกลุ่มตัวอย่าง
การวิจัยในครั้งนี้ใช้ประชากรและกลุ่มตัวอย่างดังนี้
ประชากร คือ นักศึกษาระดับชั้นประกาศนียบัตรวิชาชีพ (ปวช.) ระดับชั้นประกาศนียบัตรวิชาชีพชั้นสูง (ปวส.) สาขาการโรงแรม จำนวน ๑๘๙ คน ที่เข้าร่วมประเมิน
โครงการ เชิญวิทยากรเพื่อสาธิตเชิงปฏิบัติการทักษะการบริการอาหารและเครื่องดื่ม
กลุ่มตัวอย่าง จำนวน ๑๘๙ คน ในช่วงเวลาที่กำหนด

เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการดำเนินการวิจัย
การวิจัยในครั้งนี้เป็นแบบสอบถามเกี่ยวกับความพึงพอใจ
แบบประเมินความพึงพอใจ ๕ ตัวเลือก คือ พอใจมากที่สุด (๕) พอใจมาก (๔) พอใจปานกลาง (๓) พอใจน้อย (๒) พอใจน้อยที่สุด (๑) จำนวน ๑๐ ข้อ (ในภาคผนวก)
๑. มีความรู้จาการสาธิตการบริการอาหารและเครื่องดื่ม
๒. กระบวนการจัดกิจกรรม
๓. ความเหมาะสมของระยะเวลาการจัดโครงการ
๔. ความเหมาะสมของสถานที่ที่ใช้ดำเนินการ
๕. มีความรู้เรื่องเกี่ยวกับการประกอบอาหารและรู้จัก เครื่องดื่มต่างๆ
๖. ในการเข้าร่วมกิจกรรมเกิดความประทับใจ
๗. อุปกรณ์ที่ใช้ในการดำเนินการมีความเหมาะสม
๘. ความพึงพอใจกับการเข้าร่วมกิจกรรม
๙. สามารถนำความรู้จาการเข้าร่วมกิจกรรมไปใช้ในชีวิตประจำวัน
๑๐. ควรมีโครงการเช่นนี้ในปีถัดไป
การเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูล
เก็บข้อมูลจากนักศึกษาระดับชั้นประกาศนียบัตรวิชาชีพ (ปวช.) ระดับชั้นประกาศนียบัตรวิชาชีพชั้นสูง (ปวส.) สาขาการโรงแรม จำนวน ๑๘๙ คน เข้าร่วมการสาธิตเชิงปฏิบัติการทักษะการบริการอาหารและเครื่องดื่ม

เป็นค่าที่ใช้ชี้วัดการกระจายของข้อมูลแต่ละตัวว่าต่างไปจากค่าเฉลี่ยมากน้อยเพียงใด ใช้สัญลักษณ์ S.D. โดยมีสูตรทั่วไปและตัวอย่างการคำนวณ ดังนี้
