A saturated fatty acid Coconut oil contains fatty acids saturated approx. 92% elemental carbon (C) together with the bonds (bond), there is no opportunity for hydrogen (H2) and oxygen (O2) is inserted so the coconut oil is "saturated", with the remainder (8%) is an unsaturated fatty acid at the C, some with double bond.
