It was very good to talk to you on the phone last week, and sorry that
I was not able to see you on my last visit to Patong Resort on 29-31
May.

I notice that somethings about the Patong report have not changed in
the past 10 years since my last visit with K Charlie Neligan:

1. The carpet in the elevator with the date. I feel VERY BAD when I
come home late on Saturday night, and I see SUNDAY on the floor of the
elevator. Means I come back to room too late and will have a big
headache in the morning !!

2. Buffet Breakfast - almost the same menu 10 years later.....(but the
food is OK)

3. Front Office Reception Staff: Following a tradition set by K
Charlie, I did several inspections of the Front Office staff. I
noticed the ladies never wear their SHOES behind the counter !! But
the Front Office ladies are very nice and helpful. Are any of the
ladies single and interested to meet an older western nice guy ( i.e.:
me?).

4. Thanks for the upgrade to Room 313 (or maybe 318? - the corner
room over looking the car park). Very nice renovation to install a
wood floor. But please ask your engineer to check the air-con unit.
This room is very warm during the day time - perhaps due to big
windows on 2 sides.
