บทคัดย่อ

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ 1)เพื่อศึกษาความหลากหลายของพันธุ์ข้าวพื้นเมืองและรวบรวมพันธุ์ข้าวหอมมะลิในจังหวัดศรีสะเกษ 2)เพื่อเพื่อพัฒนาระบบฐานข้อมูลเทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศของพันธุ์ข้าวพื้นเมืองและรวบรวมพันธุ์ข้าวหอมมะลิในจังหวัดศรีสะเกษ ประชากรได้แก่ชาวเกษตรกร ในเขตอำเภอเมือง อำเภอราศีไศล อำเภอศิลาลาด อำเภอห้วยทับทัน อำเภออุทุมพรพิสัย อำเภอปรางค์กู่ อำเภอขุขันธ์ และอำเภอภูสิงห์ จำนวน 7 ครอบครัว และภาคีเครือข่าย จำนวน 6 หน่วยงานได้แก่ สำนักงานเกษตรจังหวัด สำนักงานพัฒนาชุมชนอำเภอปรางค์กู่ จังหวัดศรีสะเกษ สหกรณ์การเกษตรจังหวัดศรีสะเกษ สำนักพาณิชย์จังหวัดศรีสะเกษ ผู้ประกอบการโรงสีเอกชนจังหวัดศรีสะเกษ และกลุ่มวิสาหกิจชุมชนบ้านอุ่มแสง ตำบลดู่ อำเภอราศีไศล จังหวัดศรีสะเกษ โดยเลือกกลุ่มผู้ให้ข้อมูลหลักด้วยวิธีการเจาะจง ใช้กระบวนการวิจัยเชิงปฏิบัติการแบบมีส่วนร่วม (PAR) ใช้การวิจัยแบบชุมชนเป็นฐาน ใช้วิธีการเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลเชิงคุณภาพ เครื่องมือที่ใช้คือ แบบบันทึกบริบทพื้นที่ ชุมชน แบบสัมภาษณ์ แบบบันทึกเทป บันทึกเสียง แบบสนทนากลุ่ม แบบสังเกต
ผลการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลพบว่าเป็นพันธุ์ข้าวเจ้าและพันธุ์ข้าวเหนียว จำนวน 17 สายพันธุ์ ซึ่งเป็นข้าวที่นิยมปลูกเพื่อกินและจำหน่ายในปัจจุบัน จังหวัดศรีสะเกษ จำนวน 7 พันธุ์ ได้แก่ 1) พันธุ์ข้าวไรซ์เบอรี่ 2) พันธุ์ข้าวมะลิแดง 3) พันธุ์ข้าวมะลินิลสุรินทร์ 4) พันธุ์ข้าวเหนียวดำ 5) พันธุ์ข้าวขาวดอกมะลิ 105 6) พันธุ์ข้าวกข.15 7) พันธุ์ข้าว กข.6 และเป็นพันธุ์ข้าวพื้นเมือง จังหวัดศรีสะเกษ จำนวน 17 พันธุ์ ในปัจจุบันซึ่งส่วนมากชาวนาในจังหวัดศรีสะเกษ นิยมปลูกข้าวไว้กินเองและแบ่งไว้เพื่อจำหน่ายและบางส่วนปลูกเพื่อสะสมพันธุ์ และมีชาวนาบางกลุ่มที่เข้าร่วมกับกลุ่มวิสาหกิจชุมชนศูนย์ข้าวปลูกข้าวเพื่อจำหน่ายให้กับกลุ่มวิสาหกิจชุมชน ซึ่งได้มีการรับประกันราคาข้าวให้กับชาวนา ซึ่งได้มีการส่งข้าวจ้าวจำหน่ายทั้งในประเทศและต่างประเทศ ผลจากการใช้ประโยชน์ของพันธุ์ข้าวจังหวัดศรีสะเกษ พบว่าเพื่อเป็น “อาหาร” สำหรับชาวอุษาคเนย์แล้วข้าวคืออาหารหลักในชีวิตประจำวันที่มนุษย์เราต้องบริโภควันละสามมื้อ ทำขนมพื้นบ้านและพิธีกรรมข้าว และได้รวบรวมข้อมูลพันธุ์ข้าวที่ศึกษามาพัฒนาในรูปแบบฐานข้อมูลเทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศของพันธุ์ข้าวพื้นเมืองและพันธุ์ข้าวที่นิยมปลูกเพื่อจำหน่ายในจังหวัดศรีสะเกษเพื่อเป็นช่องทางให้คนทั่วโลกได้รับรู้
