ซึ่งโรงเรียนมัธยมวัดสิงห์ก็ได้จัดกิจกรรมวันวิทย์ขึ้นทุกปี โดยกิจกรรมวันวิทย์นี้มีจุดประสงค์
1 เพื่อให้นักเรียนได้ทราบถึงประวัติความเป็นมาและความสำคัญของวันวิทยาศาสตร์ แห่งชาติและบิดาแห่ง
วิทยาศาสตร์ไทย
2 เพื่อให้นักเรียนได้แสดงผลงานที่รวบรวมไว้ ตลอดจนการสาธิตและทดลองทาง วิทยาศาสตร์ที่น่าสนใจ
3 เพื่อจัดเป็นแหล่งการเรียนรู้นอกห้องเรียนที่หลากหลาย ทันยุคทันเหตุการณ์
4 เพื่อส่งเสริมให้นักเรียนเกิดความสนใจในการแสวงหาความรู้ทางวิทยาศาสตร์
