GAC Spirit Stories - Pillar 1
GAC Spirit Stories - Pillar 1: Two-way loyalty from staff to management and management to. Staff
The story I want to tell is of Mr. Mehdi who has been working at GAC Pakistan for more than 15 years and he had joined. The company only after he took retirement from civil service! My role in the company is to fill in the shoes of Mr.Mehdi as he is to say farewell to GAC very soon. Mr. Mehdi is the superman of GAC Pakistan. He 's currently designated as. The Company Secretary but what I 've heard from people and seen myself is that he single-handedly handles so much including. Matters of corporate affairs.I 've been put under his training all these months and it has been such a pleasure learning from this great man and he. Has gradually taught me so much over the time. This is where I 've felt the GAC Spirit. My management teaching a newcomer like me with such encouraging attitude compels me to return them the favour by putting. In extra hard work and trying my best to learn quickly and adjust myself perfectly in the working environment. That to me. Is the two way loyalty which highlights GAC Spirit so brilliantly!

.The two-way loyalty from staff to management and management, to staff is something I see all the time. Whenever I suggest. Changes my managers, challenge me and make me defend my suggestions. If they like, my ideas I know I have their full support. Every step of the way. After receiving that kind of support I can, guarantee that I will be, a loyal devoted and very happy. Employee!

After two months in GAC I received, a stress fracture to my. Right foot. It was hairline fracture that needed to heal 3 to 4 weeks at least. I live near the office and I do not have. A car so I, used to walk every day to office. When I came in to office the first time, on crutches everyone was very worried. About my condition. My boss offered me to stay home at least first 2 - 3 weeks but I, refused. People in the office started coming each morning. To pick me up and I have been brought lunch every day. I was not used to so much attention but they were so generous that. It has brought me closer to my colleagues like family. I will never forget their support and help. This is the spirit that. Keeps me, moving forwardTo go the extra mile.
