1. ประชากรที่ใช้ในการวิจัยครั้งนี้ ได้แก่ นักศึกษาชั้นปีที่ 4 คณะครุศาสตร์ สาขาวิชาภาษาอังกฤษ จำนวน 121 คน
2. กลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการทำวิจัยครั้งนี้ ได้แก่ นักศึกษาชั้นปีที่ 4 คณะครุศาสตร์ สาขาวิชาภาษาอังกฤษ จำนวน 30 คน โดยการสุ่มอย่างง่าย
เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย
แบบสำรวจวัดความเข้าใจในการใช้กลวิธีการเดาความหมายของคำศัพท์จากบริบท สำหรับนักศึกษาชั้นปีที่ 4 สาขาวิชาภาษาอังกฤษ โดยใช้มาตราส่วนประเมินค่า (Rating Scale) ตามวิธีของลิเคอร์ท (Likert) มี 5 ระดับความคิดเห็น คือ เห็นด้วยมากที่สุด เห็นด้วยมาก เห็นด้วยปานกลาง เห็นด้วยน้อย และเห็นด้วยน้อยที่สุด แบบสำรวจแบ่งออกเป็น 9 ประเภท ได้แก่
