1.1 ความเป็นมาและความสำคัญ
ผู้วิจัยสนใจที่จะศึกษาพฤติกรรมการใช้เฟสบุ๊ค (Facebook) ของนักศึกษามหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏเชียงใหม่ รวมถึงศึกษาการใช้ประโยชน์ ภัย และผลกระทบต่อการดำเนินชีวิตด้านการศึกษาที่นักศึกษาได้รับจากการใช้เฟสบุ๊ค (Facebook) ดังเช่น การเข้าเรียน ความสนใจในการเรียน สมาธิในการเรียน การทำงานกลุ่มและทำงานเดี่ยว การทบทวนบทเรียน การเข้าใจในเนื้อหาที่เรียน และผลการเรียน ผลกระทบด้านกิจกรรมต่างๆ ดังเช่น การใช้เวลาว่าง วันหยุด งานอดิเรก การออกกำลังกาย การกิน การนอน และการอยู่ร่วมในสังคม ทั้งนี้ เพื่อจะได้นำข้อมูลที่ได้มาทำความเข้าใจพฤติกรรมการสื่อสารในเครือข่ายสังคมออนไลน์ และหาแนวทางการแก้ไขปัญหาให้เหมาะสม
1.2 วัตถุประสงค์ของการวิจัย
1) เพื่อศึกษาพฤติกรรมการใช้เฟสบุ๊คของนักศึกษามหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏเชียงใหม่
2) เพื่อศึกษาผลกระทบของการใช้เฟสบุ๊ค ต่อการดำเนินชีวิตของนักศึกษาราชภัฏเชียงใหม่
3) เพื่อศึกษาการใช้ประโยชน์จากการใช้เฟสบุ๊คของนักศึกษาราชภัฏเชียงใหม่
1.3 ขอบเขตการวิจัย
กลุ่มประชากร นักศึกษาระดับปริญญาตรีมหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏเชียงใหม่ผู้ใช้เฟสบุ๊ค ใน
ระดับชั้นปีที่ 1-4 ภาคการศึกษาที่ 2/2558
กลุ่มตัวอย่าง นักศึกษาระดับปริญญาตรีมหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏเชียงใหม่ผู้ใช้เฟสบุ๊ค จำนวน 50 คน
1.4 ประโยชน์ที่ได้รับจากการวิจัย
1) ทราบถึงพฤติกรรมการใช้เฟสบุ๊ค ของนักศึกษามหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏเชียงใหม่
2) ทราบถึงผลกระทบของการใช้เฟสบุ๊คต่อการดำเนินชีวิต ของนักศึกษามหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏเชียงใหม่
3) ทราบถึงประโยชน์จากการใช้เฟสบุ๊ค ของนักศึกษามหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏเชียงใหม่
4) นำผลการศึกษามาใช้เป็นแนวทางให้แก่ผู้สนใจ

3. ระเบียบการทำวิจัย
การศึกษาข้อมูลจากเอกสาร ตำราวิชาการ แนวคิดทฤษฎี และงานวิจัยที่เกี่ยวข้องประชากรและกลุ่มตัวอย่าง ได้แก่ นักศึกษาระดับปริญญาตรีมหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏเชียงใหม่ และกลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการวิจัยเครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย ได้แก่
ส่วนที่ 1 แบบสอบถาม พฤติกรรมการใช้เฟสบุ๊คของนักศึกษามหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏเชียงใหม่
ซึ่งแบ่งออกเป็น 5 ตอนคือ
ตอนที่ 1 แบบสอบถามข้อมูลทั่วไปของกลุ่มตัวอย่าง
ตอนที่ 2 แบบสอบถามข้อมูลเบื้องต้นเกี่ยวกับการใช้เฟสบุ๊ค
ตอนที่ 3 แบบสอบถามพฤติกรรมการใช้เฟสบุ๊ค
ตอนที่ 4 แบบสอบถามผลประโยชน์เมื่อใช้เฟสบุ๊ค
ตอนที่ 5 แบบสอบถามผลกระทบด้านการดำเนินชีวิตและด้านการศึกษาเมื่อใช้เฟสบุ๊ค
ส่วนที่ 2 การประชุมกลุ่ม คือ การประชุมกลุ่มย่อย เพื่อหารูปแบบและรายละเอียด พฤติกรรมการใช้เฟสบุ๊ค ผลกระทบด้านบวกและด้านลบต่อการดำรงชีวิตของนักศึกษา ทั้งในด้านการศึกษา และด้านกิจกรรมการใช้ชีวิต เพื่อยืนยันกับข้อมูลเชิงปริมาณที่ได้มา
ส่วนที่ 3 แบบสอบถามพฤติกรรมการใช้เฟสบุ๊คของนักศึกษามหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏเชียงใหม่
เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย มีดังนี้
แบบสอบถาม คือ การนำแบบสอบถามไปทดลองใช้กับนักศึกษาชายและหญิง ที่กำลังศึกษาในมหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏเชียงใหม่ เพื่อวิเคราะห์หาคุณภาพของเครื่องมือ
การเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูล โดยการใช้การสุ่มตัวอย่างตามวัตถุประสงค์ จากกลุ่มตัวอย่างจำนวน 50 คน
1. ผู้วิจัยแจกแบบสอบและอธิบายเกี่ยวกับการตอบแบบสอบถามให้กลุ่มตัวอย่าง โดยเลือกกลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ว่างจากการเรียนและทำกิจกรรมต่างๆในชั่วโมงว่าง โดยผู้วิจัยได้เลือกสถานที่เก็บคือตามบริเวณมหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏเชียงใหม่
2. ผู้วิจัยรับแบบสอบถามคืนจากกลุ่มตัวอย่างหลังจากกรอกแบบสอบถามเสร็จแล้ว ตรวจข้อมูลให้ครบถ้วนและนำข้อมูลที่ได้ไปวิเคราะห์ต่อไป
