บทคัดย่อ
การไฟฟ้าฝ่ายผลิตแห่งประเทศไทย เป็นรัฐวิสาหกิจด้านกิจการพลังงานภายใต้การกำกับดูแลของกระทรวงพลังงาน มีหน้าที่ผลิตไฟฟ้าจากโรงไฟฟ้า ซึ่งตั้งอยู่ทุกภูมิภาคของประเทศ รวมจำนวนทั้งสิ้น 40 แห่ง มีกำลังผลิตรวมทั้งสิ้น 15,010.13 เมกะวัตต์ ประกอบด้วยโรงไฟฟ้าหลายประเภท ได้แก่ โรงไฟฟ้าพลังความร้อน 3 แห่ง โรงไฟฟ้าพลังน้ำ 22 แห่ง โรงไฟฟ้าพลังงานหมุนเวียน 8 แห่ง ดีเซล 1 แห่ง และโรงไฟฟ้าพลังความร้อนร่วม 6 แห่ง ในส่วนนี้ผู้จัดทำจะกล่าวถึงโรงไฟฟ้าพลังความร้อนร่วม ซึ่งโรงไฟฟ้าพลังความร้อนร่วม 1 ชุด จะมี กังหันก๊าซ 2 เครื่อง กังหันไอน้ำ 1 เครื่อง ที่ส่วนด้านบนของ กังหันก๊าซ จะมีห้องขนาดใหญ่ ที่ติดตั้งของกรองอากาศ คือระบบที่จะนำอากาศจากบรรยากาศภายนอกเข้าสู่เครื่องอัดอากาศ โดยที่ต้องกรองอากาศให้สะอาดตามมาตาฐานกำหนด เพื่อป้องกันไม่ให้สิ่งสกปรกต่างๆ เข้าไปในเครื่องอัดอากาศ เพราะสิ่งสกปรกเหล่านี้จะทำให้เกิดการอุดตันที่บริเวณรูระบายความร้อนของใบกังหัน ที่เป็นสาเหตุทำให้เกิดปัญหาความร้อนมากเกินที่ใบกังหัน ทำให้อายุการใช้งานของใบกังหันลดลง จากปัญหาที่เกิดขึ้นกับการกรองอากาศที่ไม่สะอาด ทำให้ต้องมีการหยุดเดินเครื่องกังหันก๊าซ เพื่อทำความสะอาดเครื่องอัดอากาศ ซึ่งต้องใช้เวลาในการหยุดเครื่อง 2-3 วัน ทำให้เสียค่าความพร้อมจ่าย ซึ่งกรองอากาศรุ่นใหม่นี้จะช่วยประหยัดค่าใช้จ่ายในการบำรุงรักษาและเพิ่มประสิทธิภาพให้กับเครื่องกังหันก๊าซทำให้การผลิตไฟฟ้าเป็นไปอย่างต่อเนื่อง ผู้จัดทำจึงได้ทำการวิเคราะห์เปรียบเทียบประสิทธิภาพ และต้นทุนในการติดตั้งรวมทั้งการบำรุงรักษากรองอากาศ High Efficiency Particulate Absorption (E12) หรือ HEPA (E12)
