การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีจุดประสงค์เพื่อ เสนอแนวทางการจัดการเรียนการสอนวรรณกรรมท้องถิ่นเรื่องตำนานกว๊านพะเยา สำหรับนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 6 โรงเรียนเทศบาล 3 (หล่ายอิงราษฏร์บำรุง) อำเภอเมือง จังหวัดพะเยา เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการศึกษาประกอบด้วยแนวการสอนวรรณกรรมท้องถิ่นเรื่องตำนานกว๊านพะเยา และแบประเมินความเหมาะสมสอดคล้องของแผนการจัดกาเรียนรู้ วิเคราะห์ข้อมูล โดยการหาค่าเฉลี่ยและส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน ผลการศึกษาพบว่า แนวการสอนวรรณกรรมท้องถิ่นเรื่องตำนานกว๊านพะเยาด้วยการใช้รูปแบบการสอนแบบสืบสอบประกอบกับการสอนโดยวิธีร่วมมือ โดยมีแนวคิดทฤษฏีตามปรัชญานิรมิตวิทยาเป็นแนวคิดพื้นฐาน ซึ่งผู้ศึกษาได้เสนอตัวอย่างแผนการจัดการเรียนรู้จำนาวน 6 แผนที่มีความเหมาะสมสอดคล้องกับแนวคิดดังกล่าวข้างต้นเป็นอย่างดี
