จากการศึกษาพบว่า สภาพปัจจุบันคลังพัสดุของธนาคารกรณีศึกษามีตำแหน่งการจัดวางพัสดุไม่เหมาะสม ทำให้การใช้ประโยชน์ของพื้นที่นั้นขาดประสิทธิภาพ ส่งผลทำให้การทำงานภายในคลังพัสดุเกิดความล่าช้า โดยผู้วิจัยได้ทำการศึกษารูปแบบตำแหน่งการจัดวางพัสดุที่ส่งผลให้การดำเนินงานภายในคลังมีประสิทธิภาพมากขึ้นและทำการวิเคราะห์ตำแหน่งพื้นที่การวางพัสดุใหม่ ในการจัดวางพัสดุ โดยใช้ระบบ ABC Classification ในการจำแนกพัสดุคงคลังออกเป็นแต่ละประเภท ซึ่งพิจารณาจากปริมาณและมูลค่าของพัสดุคงคลังแต่ละรายการเป็นเกณฑ์ ส่งผลให้ลดความผิดพลาดที่เกิดขึ้น เพิ่มความแม่นยำในการหยิบพัสดุให้มีประสิทธิภาพและประสิทธิผลดีมากยิ่งขึ้น จากนั้นทำการเปรียบเทียบระยะทางหยิบพัสดุในการเบิก-จ่าย คลังพัสดุธนาคารกรณีศึกษาทั้งแบบเดิมและแบบใหม่ พบว่าพนักงานใช้ระยะทางหยิบพัสดุลดลงโดยเฉลี่ยเท่ากับ 56 เมตรต่อครั้ง หรือ 118,440 เมตรต่อปี เทียบเป็นเปอร์เซ็นต์การลดลงเท่ากับ 75.68% ส่งผลทำให้สามารถลดระยะเวลาหยิบพัสดุลดลงโดยเฉลี่ยเท่ากับ 83 วินาทีต่อครั้ง หรือ 175,545 วินาทีต่อปี เทียบเป็นเปอร์เซ็นต์การลดลงเท่ากับ 76.85%
