Tōdai-ji Buddhist temple (the Todaiji Temple) and the oldest city of NARA is known as wooden buildings in the world. It also has been registered as a world heritage site together with the shrine of Nara City, and another seven have a Chamber inside Dai BU thasue (Daibutsuden), or wood that has been called the largest in the world. The Buddha image is Dai indicated a large bronze cast thasue 14.98 meters high, weighs approximately 500 tons, cast by the contemporary artist a piao (729-764)
