พิพิธภัณฑ์วังสวนผักกาด
วังสวนผักกาด เป็นสถานที่แห่งแรกในประเทศไทยที่เจ้าของบ้าน คือ พลตรี พระเจ้าวรวงศ์เธอ พระองค์เจ้าจุมภฏพงษ์บริพัตร กรมหมื่นนครสวรรค์ศักดิพินิต หรือ เสด็จในกรมฯ และ หม่อมราชวงศ์พันธุ์ทิพย์ บริพัตร หรือ “คุณท่าน” ได้เปิดบ้านซึ่งหลายคนรู้จักในนาม “วังสวนผักกาด” ให้บุคคลภายนอกเข้าชมในขณะที่ท่านเจ้าของยังคงใช้เป็นที่พำนักนับแต่ พ.ศ. ๒๔๙๕ เป็นต้นมา

ด้วยนิสัยและความรักในการสะสม เสด็จในกรมฯ ทรงรวบรวมศิลปะและโบราณวัตถุอันล้ำค่าที่สืบทอดมาจาก จอมพลเรือ จอมพล สมเด็จพระเจ้าบรมวงศ์เธอ เจ้าฟ้าบริพัตรสุขุมพันธุ์ กรมพระนครสวรรค์วรพินิต (ทูลกระหม่อมบริพัตรฯ) ต้นราชสกุลบริพัตร พระราชโอรสในพระบาทสมเด็จ พระจุลจอมเกล้าเจ้าอยู่หัว รัชกาลที่ ๕ และ สมเด็จพระนางเจ้าสุขุมาลมารศรี พระอัครราชเทวี นอกจากนี้ เสด็จในกรมฯ และ “คุณท่าน” ต่างร่วมกันสะสมศิลปะและโบราณวัตถุชิ้นสำคัญอื่นๆ ของทั้งชาติไทย และของโลกไว้อีกเป็นจำนวนมาก โดยเก็บรวบรวมไว้ ณ วังสวนผักกาด

พิพิธภัณฑ์วังสวนผักกาดตั้งอยู่บนพื้นที่ ๖ ไร่ บริเวณถนนศรีอยุธยา กรุงเทพฯ อันประกอบด้วยเรือนไทยโบราณ ๘ หลัง เรือนหลังที่ ๑-๔ จัดเป็นหมู่เรือนไทย โดยเรือนหลังแรกมีสะพานเชื่อมไปสู่เรือนหลังที่ ๒, ๓ และ ๔ ซึ่งอยู่ทางทิศใต้ ตามลำดับ ส่วนเรือนหลังที่ ๕-๘ ปลูกอยู่ห่างกันทางทิศตะวันตก และมีหอเขียนอยู่ทางทิศใต้ สำหรับพิพิธภัณฑ์บ้านเชียง และ ห้องศิลปนิทรรศมารศีจัดแสดงอยู่ในศิลปาคารจุมภฏ-พันธุ์ทิพย์
