ผู้นำที่ดีจะต้องมีความมั่นใจในตนเอง มั่นใจในสิ่งที่ตนเองคิด และทำ แต่ก็ต้องเชื่อมั่น และมั่นใจในสิ่งที่ถูกต้องด้วยเช่นกัน ถ้าเราสามารถแสดงออกถึงความมั่นใจ และทำให้พนักงานรู้สึกว่าผู้นำคนนี้มีความมั่นคง พนักงานก็จะยินดีที่จะยอมเป็นผู้ตาม ผิดกับผู้นำที่เอียงไป เอียงมา คิดอะไร ทำอะไร ก็ไม่มั่นใจสักอย่าง ต้องคอยถามคนอื่น อีกทั้งยังไม่กล้าตัดสินใจอะไรใดๆ ในการทำงาน ถ้าผู้นำขาดความมั่นใจในตนเอง ก็จะไม่มีใครเชื่อมั่นในตัวผู้นำด้วยเช่นกัน
