เพื่อเป็นการเตือนใจของทุกคนในบริดจสโตนโดยมีคติพจน์ว่า “จะไม่ลืมเหตุการณ์ในวันนั้น” เราจึงยึดถือวันที่ 8 กันยายน ของทุกปีเป็น “วันป้องกันอัคคีภัยของบริษัทฯในกลุ่มบริดจสโตน” ซึ่งในปีนี้โรงงานรังสิตจัดกิจกรรมการแข่งขันดับเพลิงแบบใช้ตู้น้ำดับเพลิงต่อเนื่องมาเป็นปีที่ 11 แล้ว โดยมีวัตถุประสงค์ 1. เพื่อเป็นการกระตุ้นให้พนักงานในทุกส่วน ได้มีส่วนร่วมในกิจกรรม ทางด้านป้องกันอัคคีภัย 2. เพื่อให้ความรู้วิธีในการป้องกันและระงับอัคคีภัย โดยวิธีการใช้ตู้น้ำดับเพลิง 3. เพื่อความพร้อมเพรียงในการรองรับสถานการณ์ฉุกเฉิน ทางด้านอัคคีภัย
