นายสุนชัย คำนูณเศรษฐ์ ผู้ว่าการ กฟผ. กล่าวว่า กฟผ. ได้ดำเนินงานโครงการ “การจัดการด้านการใช้ไฟฟ้า” เพื่อรณรงค์ให้ผู้ใช้ไฟฟ้าทุกภาคส่วน เกิดจิตสำนึกในคุณค่าของพลังงานโดยผ่านกลยุทธ์ 3 อ. ได้แก่ อุปกรณ์ อาคาร และ อุปนิสัย เพื่อให้ครอบคลุมกลุ่มผู้ใช้ไฟฟ้าทั้งภาคที่อยู่อาศัย ภาคธุรกิจ และภาคอุตสาหกรรมซึ่งในวันนี้ กฟผ. ได้รับความร่วมมือจาก GIZ ในการร่วมมือกันศึกษาแนวทางการดำเนินงานด้านการสนับสนุนอาคารประสิทธิภาพสูงและการส่งเสริมให้มีหน่วยงานกลางดูแลตรวจสอบการดำเนินงานของบริษัทจัดการพลังงาน หรือ ESCO Facilitation และศึกษาถึงความเป็นไปได้ในการดำเนินการติดฉลากแสดงประสิทธิภาพสำหรับอาคารอนุรักษ์พลังงานภาคธุรกิจและอุตสาหกรรม รวมไปถึงการแลกเปลี่ยนความรู้ด้านการบริหารจัดการพลังงาน เพื่อเป็นแนวทางในการประหยัดพลังงานให้เกิดขึ้นอย่างเป็นรูปธรรม อันจะก่อให้เกิดการใช้พลังงานอย่างมีประสิทธิภาพอย่างยั่งยืนต่อไป
