ความเป็นมาและความสำคัญของปัญหา
อันเนื่องมาจากกระแสเรื่องสุขภาพที่คนไทยหันมาให้ความสนใจนั้น
จากกระแสการตื่นตัวเรื่องการรักษาสุขภาพที่มาแรงใน 2-3 ปีที่ผ่านมานั้นส่งผลทำให้คนหลายๆคนมาออกกำลังกายมากขึ้น สำหรับการศึกษาครั้งนี้ ผู้ทำการวิจัยต้องการที่จะศึกษาและมุ่งเน้นถึง ปัจจัยที่มีผลต่อการตัดสินใจในการออกกำลังกาย ของผู้คนในจังหวัดศรีสะเกษ และเห็นว่าการศึกษาในด้านนี้จะเป็นประโยชน์ต่อผู้ที่สนใจในการออกกำลังกาย เพื่อนำข้อมูลที่ได้จากการศึกษาวิจัยมาใช้เป็นแนวทางในการดำเนินกิจกรรม การออกกำลังกาย และรองรับกับสถานที่ และยังเป็นแนวทางให้กับผู้ที่สนใจในเรื่องนี้นำไปใช้ประโยชน์ได้ตามต้องการ

วัตถุประสงค์ของโครงการ
1. เพื่อศึกษาลักษณะทางประชากรศาสตร์ที่มีผลต่อการตัดสินใจในการมาออกกำลังกาย ของผู้คนในจังหวัดศรีสัเกษ
2. เพื่อศึกษาปัจจัยอื่นๆ ได้แก่ ค่านิยม กลุ่มอ้างอิง อิทธิพลของสถานการณ์ มีผลต่อการตัดสินใจในการออกกำลังกาย
3. เพื่อศึกษาปัจจัยส่วนประสมทางด้านการดูแลตัวเองที่มีผลต่อการตัดสินใจในการออกกำลังกาย ของผู้คนในจังหวัดศรีสะเกษ
ขอบเขตการวิจัย
ในการศึกษาวิจัยครั้งนี้ จะทำการศึกษาถึงปัจจัยที่มีผลต่อการตัดสินใจในการมาออกกำลังกาย ของผู้บริโภคในจังหวัดศรีสะเกษ โดยจะเน้นศึกษาเฉพาะผู้ที่ได้มาออกกำลังกายเป็นประจำทุกวันแล้วเท่านั้น
