ประชากรการวิจัย
ประชากรที่ทำการศึกษาในงานวิจัยครั้งนี้ คือ ผู้ออกกำลังกายทั้งชายและหญิงในตัวเมือง ที่ได้มาออกกำลังกาย และเป็นผู้ที่มีภูมิลำเนาหรือพักอาศัยอยู่ในตัวเมือง ซึ่งมีจำนวนประชากรทั้งสิ้น 1,462,028 คน
การสุ่มกลุ่มตัวอย่าง
เนื่องจากจำนวนประชากรในจังหวัดศรีสะเกษ มีจำนวน 1,462,028 คน จึงจำเป็นต้องกำหนดขนาดของกลุ่มอย่างที่เหมาะสม โดยการใช้สูตรการหาขนาดตัวอย่างจากสัดส่วนประชากรที่ระดับความเชื่อมั่น 95% โดยประมาณค่าสัดส่วนหรือร้อยละขนาดตัวอย่างจะหาได้จากสูตรดังนี้ (วัชรากรณ์ ชีวโศภิษฐ, 2546)

การสุ่มตัวอย่างสำหรับการวิจัยจะใช้การสุ่มตัวอย่างแบบหลายขั้นตอน (Multi – Stage Sampling) โดยเรียงลำดับเป็น 3 ขั้นตอน ดังนี้
ขั้นที่ 1 ใช้วิธีการสุ่มตัวอย่างแบบง่าย (Simple Random Sampling) โดยการเลือกเพื่อเลือกกลุ่มตัวอย่าง โดยแบ่งตามเขตการปกครองของจังหวัด เป็นส่วน โดยสุ่มเลือกคน50คน
ขั้นที่ 2 ใช้การสุ่มตัวอย่างแบบเฉพาะเจาะจง (Purposive Sampling) โดยกำหนดให้เลือกเก็บตัวอย่างจากทั้ง 20คน
ขั้นที่ 3 ใช้วิธีการสุ่มตัวอย่างโดยใช้ความสะดวก (Convenience Sampling) เพื่อเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลโดยนำแบบสอบถามที่ได้จัดเตรียมไว้ไปทำการจัดเก็บข้อมูล ณ เกาะกลางน้ำ ที่ได้ทำการสุ่มตัวอย่างไว้

การวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล
ในการศึกษาจะนำข้อมูลปฐมภูมิที่ได้จากการตอบแบบสอบถามของกลุ่มตัวอย่างจำนวน 50ตัวอย่าง โดยมีการมาออกกำลังกายทุกวัน โดยจะแบ่งการวิเคราะห์ดังนี้
1. วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลทั่วไปของผู้ตอบแบบสอบถาม โดยใช้สถิติเชิงบรรยาย (Descriptive Statistic) โดยการหาค่าร้อยละ
2. วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลเกี่ยวกับเป็นปัจจัยในการตัดสินใจมาออกกำลังกายโดยค่าร้อยละ
3. วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลเกี่ยวกับส่วนประสมแต่ๆที่มีผลต่อการตัดสินใจมาออกกำลังกาย หาค่าคะแนนเฉลี่ย (Mean) และค่าเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน (Standard deviation)



1. เนื่องจากงานวิจัยครั้งนี้เป็นการศึกษาโดยใช้สถิติพื้นฐานในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล ดังนั้นผู้วิจัยเห็นว่าควรมีการศึกษาในประเด็นเดียวกันแต่ควรใช้สถิติอื่นๆ ในการวิเคราะห์ผลการวิจัย เช่น การหาค่าความสัมพันธ์
2. การทำวิจัยในครั้งนี้เป็นการศึกษาเกี่ยวกับการออกกำลังกายแต่ผู้วิจัยได้ศึกษาการออกกำลังกายของคนในจังหวัดศรีเกษ เท่านั้น ดังนั้นผู้วิจัยเห็นว่า ในการทำการวิจัยครั้งต่อไปควรศึกษาการออกกำลังกายของคนทุกคนในประเทศไทยเพิ่มเติม
