บทคัดย่อ
งานวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาสมุนไพรไทยและสรรพคุณของสมุนไพรไทย ที่สามารถรักษาโรคได้และรักษาอาการป่วยต่างๆ ได้

ในสังคมไทยปัจจุบัน คนไทยส่วนใหญ่ยังให้ความสำคัญในเรื่องของการดูแลรักษาสุขภาพตนเองอย่างสม่ำเสมอ โดยใช้สมุนไพรที่มีอยู่ในประเทศ สมุนไพรไทยที่เป็นพืช มีความจำเป็นต่อชีวิตประจำวัน เนื่องจากเป็นสมุนไพรใกล้ตัวที่สามารถปลูกเองได้ไว้ใช้ในบ้านเรือนและมีการใช้อยู่เป็นประจำ สมุนไพรไทยยังเป็นอาหาร ยารักษาโรค และเครื่องสำอาง หาซื้อได้ง่าย ทำใช้เองได้และปลอดภัยกว่าการใช้ยาปฏิชีวนะที่อาจจะส่งผลข้างเคียงต่อร่างกายในระยะยาวด้วย

การบริโภคอาหารให้ถูกสัดส่วนและพอเหมาะแก่ความต้องการของร่างกายแล้ว อาหารเปรียบเสมือนกับยาที่ช่วยดูแลรักษาร่างกายให้แข็งแรง และเมื่อเจ็บป่วยขึ้นมา อาหารที่ดี สะอาด และมีคุณค่าทางอาหารสูง จะช่วยรักษาและบรรเทาอาการเจ็บป่วยได้ หากเรารู้จักเลือกบริโภคให้เหมาะสมกับโรคที่เป็นอยู่
