เมื่อวันทื่ 24-25 กรกฎาคม 2013 ที่ผ่านมา ดิฉันและเพื่อนๆพร้อมอาจารย์ ได้มีโอกาสไปดูงานและเที่ยวประเทศลาว หลวงพระบางเมืองมรดกโลก นับเป็นประสบการณ์ที่ยอดเยี่ยม เมื่อมองมาย้อนดูบ้านเราก็ไม่ได้ด้อยกว่าในเรื่องของธรรมชาติ แต่วัฒนธรรมเราไม่เข้มแข็งอย่างลาว ฝรั่งมั่งค่านักท่องเที่ยวเยอะแยะ แต่แม่หญิงลาวก็ยังแต่งกายงดงาม รักษาความเป็นลาวได้อย่างภาคภูมิ ธรรมชาติของเขาก็อุดมสมบูรณ์ อาจเนื่องมาจากการที่ประชากรน้อย และที่สำคัญชาวลาวใช้ชีวิตอย่างเรียบง่าย ทำให้การใช้ชีวิตไม่เบียดเบียนธรรมชาติ อยู่ในระดับที่ธรรมชาติรองรับได้ หลวงพระบางอยู่ในอ้อมกอดของขุนเขา เป็นปราการสำคัญที่ล้อมความเป็นลาวให้คงอยู่อย่างสมบูรณ์ สกัดกั้นวัฒนธรรมภายนอกเข้ามาได้เป็นอย่างดี
