· การตัดสิทธิประเทศไทย มีผลใช้บังคับตั้งแต่ 1 มกราคม 2558 เป็นต้นไป

· สาเหตุการถูกตัดสิทธิ :
สหภาพยุโรปกำหนดเกณฑ์การยกเลิกการให้สิทธิพิเศษ GSP กับประเทศที่ถูกจัดอันดับโดยธนาคารโลกให้อยู่ในกลุ่มที่มี GNI per capita ตั้งแต่ระดับปานกลางค่อนข้างสูง (Upper Middle Income) มูลค่า 3,945-12,195 เหรียญสหรัฐฯ ขึ้นไป เป็นเวลา 3 ปี ติดต่อกัน ซึ่งประเทศไทยมี GNI per capita ปี 2553-2555 มูลค่า 4,320 4,620 และ 5,210 เหรียญสหรัฐฯ ประเทศไทยจึงเข้าเกณฑ์ถูกตัดสิทธิ
