(2) จัดให้มีกิจกรรมการส่งเสริมและปลูกฝังจิตสำนึกในการอนุรักษ์ทรัพยากรธรรมชาติบนพื้นฐานของชุมชนให้รู้คุณค่าของป่าไม้เพื่อช่วยอนุรักษ์ป่าและหยุดยั้งการบุกรุกทำลายพื้นที่ป่าโดยเฉพาะราษฎรที่อยู่บริเวณพื้นที่โครงการฯหรือราษฎรที่ได้รับผลได้ผลเสียจากพื้นที่ป่าโดยร่วมมือกับกรมอุทยานแห่งชาติสัตว์ป่าและพันธุ์พืชอย่างน้อยปีละ 1 ครั้ง
3.2.3 ทรัพยากรสัตว์ป่า
3.2.3.1 สภาพแวดล้อมปัจจุบัน
จากการสำรวจสัตว์ป่าบริเวณพื้นที่พัฒนาโครงการระบบเครือข่ายน้ำในพื้นที่ลำปาวฝั่งขวา เมื่อวันที่ 24-26 ธันวาคม 2554 พบสัตว์ป่ารวม 130 ชนิด แยกเป็นสัตว์เลี้ยงลูกด้วยนม 8 ชนิด นก 94 ชนิด สัตว์เลื้อยคลาน 19 ชนิด และสัตว์สะเทินน้ำสะเทินบก 9 ชนิดซึ่งเป็นสัตว์ที่พบได้โดยทั่วไปในพื้นที่ชุมชน เกษตรกรรม และป่าชุมชน
3.2.3.2 การประเมินผลกระทบสิ่งแวดล้อม
1) ระยะก่อสร้าง
ผลกระทบที่เกิดขึ้นกับสัตว์ป่าดังกล่าว ในลักกษณะของแหล่งพักอาศัย/หากินบางส่วนนั้นถูกทำลาย/เปลี่ยนสภาพหรือถูกรบกวนเป็นการชั่วคราว แต่สัตว์ป่าดังกล่าวก็สามารถปรับตัวเพื่อหาแหล่งพักอาศัย/หากินใหม่ได้เนื่องจากพื้นที่ที่ดำเนินกิจกรรมการก่อสร้างของโครงการเป็นพื้นที่เกษตรกรรม และพื้นที่ชุมชน ซึ่งสัตว์ป่าที่อาศัยอยู่ในบริเวณดังกล่าวมีการปรับตัวให้เข้ากับสภาพพื้นที่ได้ดีอยู่แล้ว ซึ่งจะส่งผลกระทบต่อประชากรในธรรมชาติน้อยมากดังนั้นผลกระทบที่เกิดขึ้นจึงอยู่ในระดับน้อยที่สุด (-1)
2) ระยะดำเนินการ
ผลกระทบที่เกิดขึ้นกับสัตว์ป่าในระยะดำเนินการ จะส่งผลประโยชน์ให้สัตว์ป่าบางกลุ่ม เช่น นก สัตว์สะเทินน้ำสะเทินบก และสัตว์เลื้อยคลานบ้างชนิดในลักษณะของการมีแหล่งอาหาร/ที่อยู่อาศัยมากขึ้นจากการปรับปรุง/พัฒนาแหล่งน้ำ ดังนั้นการพัฒนาของโครงการจะส่งผลกระทบในระดับน้อย (+2)
3.2.3.3 มาตรการป้องกันและแก้ไขผลกระทบสิ่งแวดล้อม
1) ระยะก่อสร้าง
(1) ลดการเปิดพื้นที่ดำเนินการให้น้อยลง/เท่าที่จำเป็นที่สุดเช่นความกว้างของถนน/เส้นทางสัญจรที่จะนำวัสดุ/อุปกรณ์ต่างๆเข้าไปในพื้นที่โครงการฯ
(2) ในการดำเนินการก่อสร้างควรเริ่มจากด้านนอกเข้าด้านใน (บริเวณพื้นที่ป่า/พื้นที่ธรรมชาติ) เพื่อให้สัตว์ป่ามีโอกาสหลบ/หนีเข้าป่า/อพยพไปยังพื้นที่ธรรมชาติที่อยู่ใกล้เคียง/ติดกันได้
(3) การสร้างที่พัก/บ้านพักควรหลีกเลี่ยงพื้นที่ที่เป็นที่อยู่/อาศัยของสัตว์ป่าเช่นพื้นที่ที่เป็นแหล่งน้ำพื้นที่ที่มีพืชปกคลุมดินอยู่มากและพื้นที่ที่อยู่ใกล้ป่า/พื้นที่อนุรักษ์
(4) ระยะเวลาในการดำเนินการก่อสร้างควรเริ่มในเวลา 8.00 น. และหยุดก่อนเวลา 18.00 น. เพราะสัตว์ป่าส่วนใหญ่หากินเช้าและช่วงก่อนมืดเล็กน้อย (18.30-19.00 น.)
(5) ควรนำวัสดุทุกชิ้นโดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่งอาหาร/เศษอาหาร/ถุงพลาสติก/ภาชนะที่ใส่อาหารออกจากพื้นที่หรือจัดเก็บให้เป็นที่และมิดชิดเพื่อป้องกันสัตว์ที่เป็นพาหะนำโรคเช่นหนู
