Thank you for your quick reply as we were anxious to know the dates that Lemon was arriving.
My husband and I have been discussing Lemons chosen nick name and have decided that she will be okay in using that name.
We have learned that when someone in USA spoke of a lemon as something inferior, that was true but for a different generation. The youth now, don't use that name as lingo as they did many years ago.
We are already preparing for your daughter to have a positive experience here in the U.S.A. So we were being protective host parents, but with further information, we believe that it will not be an issue for her.
Also, we have learned of another girl with the name, Lemon.
I'm sorry for any confusion I may have caused.
Either name is nice and we will use the one that is desired.
I wrote to Darapon and told her this but I don't hear replies from her very often.
I wonder if she is too busy to respond to my letters.
Jo Jo is going away next week to visit her grandparents in another city. She is a smart girl who is full of dreams for her future. Lemon will find comfort in a new country with Host sister by her side.
