หนึ่งในสาเหตุของการศึกษาไทยที่ยังไม่ดีพอคือการที่ครูมีประสบการณ์ไม่พอหรืออาจจะเป็นเพราะว่าเทคนิคหรือสื่อการสอนของครูยังไม่มีประสิทธิภาพ จึงทำให้นักเรียนเกิดปัญหาไม่เข้าใจในบทเรียนหรือเข้าใจไม่ถ่องแท้ หรืออาจจะมีวิธีการสอนที่เน้นแต่ทฤษฎีและการท่องจำแต่ไม่เน้นให้เด็กคิดและวิเคราะห์และสามารถนำเนื้อหาที่เรียนไปใช้ให้เกิดประโยชน์ได้จริงในชีวิตประจำวัน เมื่อเด็กเข้าใจแต่เพียงผิวเผินก็จำได้แค่เฉพาะในเวลาที่ครูสอนหรืออ่านบทเรียนแค่ตอนที่จะสอบ พอผ่านไปสักพักก็ลืม มันจึงไม่มีประโยชน์ที่จะสอนให้เด็กท่องจำเพียงอย่างเดียว นี่คือปัญหาของการที่ครูไม่มีหาเทคนิคใหม่ๆเข้ามาทำให้เด็กรู้สึกว่ามันเข้าใจง่ายและน่าสนใจ เด็กจึงมองข้ามความสำคัญของการศึกษาและปล่อยเวลาไปกับอย่างอื่น สื่อการสอนก็มีผลต่อการเรียนของเด็ก ถ้าสื่อการเรียนการสอนไม่มีคุณภาพหรือครูไม่มีการเตรียมสื่อการเรียนการสอนมาล่วงหน้าเมื่อนำมาสอน เด็กก็จะได้รับเนื้อหาที่ผิดเพี้ยนไปจากความจริงและจดจำสิ่งที่ผิดไปใช้หรือเนื้อหานั้นเมื่อเทียบกับหลักสากลจริงๆอาจจะแตกต่างไป เมื่อครูไม่มีวิธีการสอนที่มันดึงดูดใจเด็กให้กระตือรือร้นที่จะศึกษาทำความเข้าใจ เด็กก็จะรู้สึกว่าเนื้อหามันน่าเบื่อและขาดความกระตือรือร้นที่จะศึกษาทำความเข้าใจ
