ติดต่อประสานงานกับเจ้าหน้าที่แผนกอื่นๆเกี่ยวกับเรื่องรักษาความปลอดภัยและทรัพย์สินที่สูญหายไป
ดูแลควบคุมเรื่องต่าง ๆ และรักษาความปลอดภัยเมื่อมีการเคลื่อนย้ายเงินสดหรือของมีค่าจำนวนมาก
ช่วยจัดการฝึกอบรมเทคนิควิธีการดับเพลิงแก่พนักงาน รวมถึงการจัดให้มีการซ้อมดับเพลิงด้วย
และในบางโรงแรม จะมีตำแหน่งเจ้าหน้าที่รักษาเวลา (Time Keeper) ซึ่งจะประจำอยู่ที่ประตูหลังของโรงแรมที่เป็นทางเข้าออกของพนักงานโรงแรม จะคอยดูเวลาเข้าออกของพนักงาน รวมถึงการตรวจสิ่งของของคนที่เข้าออกโรงแรมด้วย
