โรงละครที่ใช้ในการจัดการแสดงของภาควิชาศิลปะการแสดง รวมทั้งการเรียนการสอนวิชาการแสดง การกำกับการแสดงขั้นสูง การเสนอผลงานสารนิพนธ์ของนักศึกษา มีลักษณะเป็นโรงละครเชิงทดลองไม่มีพื้นที่การแสดงส่วนใดกำหนดตายตัว ทุกพื้นที่ในโรงละครสามารถใช้แสดงได้ทั้งหมด ซึ่ง
โรงละครจะมีลักษณะเหมือนกล่องเปล่าสี่เหลี่ยมสีดำ เป็นที่มาของชื่อที่เรียกว่า Black Box Theatre เพื่อที่จะสามารถสร้างสรรค์ได้ตามจินตนาการและวัตถุประสงค์ของการแสดงแต่ละเรื่อง พื้นไม้ปูด้วยไม้อัดที่มี โครงสร้างของพื้นกันกระแทกเพื่อความปลอดภัยในสรีระของนักแสดงสามารถถอดเปลี่ยนได้ บริเวณพื้นกลางห้องซ่อนช่องทางลงใต้ดิน ( Trap Door ) โดยเจาะเป็นทางเดินเชื่อมไปขึ้นที่บริเวณส่วนเตรียมการแสดง ( Green Room ) ทั้งนี้เพื่อใช้ประโยชน์ในการแสดงที่อาจมีต้องเลื่อนขึ้นหรือลงใต้ดิน โรงละครสามารถจุผู้ชมได้ประมาณ 300 ที่นั่ง ขึ้นอยู่กับการจัดลักษณะที่นั่ง โรงละครมีทางเดินสองชั้น
( Catwalk ) รอบโรงละครเพื่อประโยชน์ในการติดตั้งอุปกรณ์แสงและยังสามารถจัดเป็นที่นั่งผู้ชมได้อีกด้วย
