ประชากรที่ใช้ในการศึกษา คือ นักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 3 ภาคเรียนที่ 2 ปีการศึกษา 2557 โรงเรียนวัดอินทาราม สำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษาธนบุรี จำนวน 7ห้องเรียน จำนวนนักเรียน 323 คน
2. กลุ่มตัวอย่าง
กลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการทดลองครั้งนี้ คือ นักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 3/2 ภาคเรียนที่ 2 ปีการศึกษา 2557 โรงเรียนวัดอินทาราม สำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษาธนบุรี จำนวน 1 ห้องเรียน จำนวนนักเรียน 48 คน ที่ได้มาจากการสุ่มอย่างง่าย (Simple Random Sampling) โดยวิธีการจับฉลาก
3. เนื้อหาที่จะนำมาสร้างบทเรียนคอมพิวเตอร์ช่วยสอน สำหรับใช้ในการศึกษาค้นคว้า คือ วิชาวิทยาศาสตร์พื้นฐาน เรื่อง เอกภพ ดาวฤกษ์และระบบสุริยะ สำหรับนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 3 ตามหลักสูตรสถานศึกษาขั้นพื้นฐาน พุทธศักราช 2544
4. ระยะเวลาที่ใช้ในการศึกษาการศึกษาค้นคว้า ผู้ศึกษาได้ทำการทดลองในภาคเรียนที่ 2 ปีการศึกษา 2557 ระยะเวลาในการทดลอง 14 สัปดาห์ สัปดาห์ละ 2 คาบ คาบละ 50 นาที
