บทคัดย่อ
การศึกษาการประกอบอาชีพเสริมเพื่อเพิ่มรายได้ของแม่บ้านเกษตรกร อำเภอป่าซาง จังหวัดลำพูน มีวัตถุประสงค์ได้แก่ 1) เพื่อศึกษาสภาพการประกอบอาชีพเสริมของแม่บ้านเกษตรกร ในอำเภอป่าซาง จังหวัดลำพูน 2) เพื่อศึกษาความพึงพอใจและความต้องการมีอาชีพเสริมของแม่บ้านเกษตรกรเพื่อเพิ่มรายได้ให้กับครอบครัว ในอำเภอป่าซาง จังหวัดลำพูน 3) เพื่อศึกษาปัญหา อุปสรรค รวมถึงข้อจำกัดต่าง ๆ ในการประกอบอาชีพเสริมของแม่บ้านเกษตรกร เพื่อเพิ่มรายได้ให้กับครอบครัว ในอำเภอป่าซาง จังหวัดลำพูน โดยกลุ่มตัวอย่างในการวิจัยครั้งนี้ คือ แม่บ้านเกษตรกรที่มีการประกอบอาชีพเสริมในอำเภอป่าซาง จังหวัดลำพูน จำนวน 348 ราย ส่วนเครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูล คือ แบบสอบถาม และวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยใช้โปรแกรมสถิติสำเร็จรูปเพื่อการวิจัยทางสังคมศาสตร์ สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิจัยครั้งนี้ ได้แก่ ค่าความถี่ ร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ค่าสูงสุด ค่าต่ำสุด ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน และการวิเคราะห์ความพึงพอใจของแม่บ้านเกษตรกรต่อการประกอบอาชีพเสริมใช้วิธีการคำนวณค่าเฉลี่ยน้ำหนักความคิดเห็น
ผลการศึกษาพบว่า แม่บ้านเกษตรกรที่ประกอบอาชีพเสริม มีอายุเฉลี่ย 51 ปี ส่วนใหญ่มีสถานภาพสมรส จบการศึกษาระดับประถมศึกษา มีจำนวนสมาชิกในครัวเรือน 3-4 คน และมีที่ดินเป็นของตนเอง มีอาชีพหลัก คือ ทำสวนลำไย และมีรายได้หลักเฉลี่ย 93,769.05 บาทต่อปี ในส่วนของอาชีพเสริมพบว่า แม่บ้านเกษตรกรที่ประกอบอาชีพเสริมส่วนใหญ่ทำงานด้วยตัวเอง รองลงมาคือการทำร่วมกับแรงงานในครัวเรือน ซึ่งแม่บ้านเกษตรกรส่วนใหญ่ประกอบอาชีพเสริมนอกภาคการเกษตร ได้แก่ รับจ้างทั่วไป การทำหัตถกรรม และการประกอบธุรกิจส่วนตัว โดยมีรายได้เสริมเฉลี่ย 49,897.41 บาทต่อปี
ในด้านความพึงพอใจต่อการประกอบอาชีพเสริม และความต้องการการช่วยเหลือในการประกอบอาชีพเสริม พบว่า แม่บ้านเกษตรกรมีความพึงพอใจในระดับมากต่อการประกอบอาชีพเสริม ซึ่งเหตุผลที่แม่บ้านเกษตรกรมีความพึงพอใจมากที่สุดคือ การประกอบอาชีพเสริมทำให้เกิดการพัฒนาศักยภาพของตนเอง เกิดความภาคภูมิใจ และเห็นคุณค่าของตนเอง นอกจากนี้ แม่บ้านเกษตรกรยังมีความต้องการ การช่วยเหลือในการประกอบอาชีพเสริมอยู่ในระดับมาก โดยเรื่องที่มีความต้องการการช่วยเหลือมากที่สุดคือ แหล่งเงินทุนเพิ่มเติม แรงจูงใจหรือค่าตอบแทน รวมถึงคำแนะนำการช่วยเหลือเมื่อเกิดปัญหาในการประกอบอาชีพเสริม
ปัญหาและอุปสรรคในการประกอบอาชีพเสริมพบว่า มีปัญหาเรื่องแรงงานไม่เพียงพอ ปัญหาเรื่องตลาดรองรับผลผลิตทางการเกษตร ปัญหาเรื่องราคาผลผลิตที่ไม่สม่ำเสมอ ปัญหาเรื่องความรู้และทักษะในการประกอบธุรกิจ เป็นต้น ทั้งนี้ ข้อเสนอแนะจากความต้องการการช่วยเหลือในการประกอบอาชีพเสริมของแม่บ้านเกษตรกร คือ หน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวข้องทั้งภาครัฐ และเอกชน ควรส่งเสริมความรู้เพิ่มเติม เช่น จัดอบรมการเพาะปลูก และการพัฒนาความรู้ ทักษะงานฝีมือ รวมไปถึงการจัดหาตลาดรองรับผลผลิต เพื่อป้องกันราคาสินค้าที่ไม่สม่ำเสมอ
